African American Heritage Black History Month

e-WV, available to anyone with an Internet connection, includes more than 2,200 articles as well as thousands of illustrations.The online encyclopedia is a project of the West Virginia Humanities Council, which published the print version of the West Virginia Encyclopedia in 2006.
