Smarter Balanced Digital Library

The Smarter Balanced Digital Library is an online platform containing subject- and grade-specific instructional resources and professional learning resources to help educators apply the formative assessment process during daily instruction.

Last fall all WV educators were given access to the Smarter Balanced Digital Library.  At that time educators should have received an email with login information.  Many educators accessed the Digital Library and continue to use it.  Others did not and the temporary password provided expired – those educators are unable to access their account in the Digital Library.  The address for the Digital Library is https://www.smarterbalancedlibrary.org.

Your username for the Digital Library is your email address.

If you accessed your account at that time and changed your password:

  • You can continue to use the Digital Library.
  • If you have forgotten you password, you can request it be reset via the login page.

If you did not access your account at that time:

If you don’t know whether or not you accessed your account:

  • Request a new password via the login page.

o   If you are asked to answer security questions, proceed with your request for a temporary password.

o   If you are unable to request a new password, send an email to tsapping@k12.wv.us requesting your password be reset.

For additional information regarding the Smarter Balanced Digital Library, please contact Terri Sappington in the Office of Assessment at 304.558.2546.

Thanks,

Vaughn
